True Colors opened its doors on July 1, 2022, with a mission to support LGBTQ+ youth in Manhattan through advocacy, education, community, and direct access to support services.
After more than four years of youth-led advocacy and community building, True Colors closed its physical space and is sunsetting its independent nonprofit status.

While this chapter is coming to an end, the work continues.
True Colors’ mission and legacy will be carried forward through Thrive! Flint Hills, expanding the commitment to supporting LGBTQIA+ youth and building a more welcoming, affirming community.

Thank you to every young person, volunteer, staff member, and community partner who made True Colors what it was. The space may be closed, but the work continues.
